It’s almost like teachers barely make a living wage and actual minimum wage workers don’t make a living wage at all.
Keep in mind that raising minimum will ultimately force your employer to pay you more competitively--whether or not you are a minimum wage worker.
This is why conservatives are so scared of minimum wage workers making a living wage (which, to be clear, $15/hour is not)--it would force all employers to start paying employees a more reasonable fraction of their value. Trickle-down economics is a sick joke, but trickle-up economics is real.
