Just saw an ad that said we'd "all have stories to tell" after the pandemic ends and I'm struggling to think of a more oblivious, heartless thing to say
"for nearly two years I only saw my girlfriend six times. other than that I only left the house to get groceries."
"oh, that brings me back! i was an 'essential worker' getting paid minimum wage, but i wasn't eligible for the vaccine, and i couldn't quit my job or i would have become homeless"
"CLASSIC 2020. such good times"
