The desperate attempt to Both Sides sexist oppression is irritating and exhausting and just sad: Just the wild, unhinged fantasizing that there is somewhere, in some raunchy internet joke about pegging, a slippery slope towards the creation of a single niche subculture where women enable other women to treat men with anything close to the violence and contempt that is normalized in nearly every single male-dominated social circle. The only thing I can think is that it serves as some combination psychological shield and desire for moral levelling; or at least that's the level on which I find the instinct relatable, because it is painful to face the real extent to which men dehumanize women.
