How did Zatara's first meeting with Damar go?

It was… interesting. The first official meeting I have written down was from an old role-play session from years ago, and I might actually try and rework it a bit - I like the general idea, but the tone needs tweaking.
Long story short, Zatara comes to DS9 probably early season 3. As an unofficial agent of the Obsidian Order, she is no longer connected with the agency once Tain retires, so she goes to the station both to rejoin her old friend, Garak, and to open a night club as a front for continuing to gather information at a strategically critical location. In this timeline, she (and Garak) both remain on the station during the Cardassian/Dominion takeover in order to smuggle coded information back to the Federation.
[As an aside, I’d like to point out that both Zatara and Garak are loyal to Cardassia, and feel that by supplying information to Starfleet, they are protecting their home from what they see as an imminent occupation by Dominion forces.]
Zatara is watchful for the best potential targets to use as a resource for gathering information and settles on then Glinn Damar. He’s high enough in rank that he would have plenty of intelligence to extract, but just reckless enough to make the process easy. Loose lips sink ships, and nothing loosens his lips faster than a few glasses of kanar. So, she meets him at Quark’s late one evening; between her shameless flirting and his inebriation, he sheds his inhibitions about her status and takes her back to his quarters. Unfortunately, he passes out before anything can happen between them… Zatara doesn’t usually let things go that far anyway, but she finds herself intrigued by him. Even drunk, he’s clearly more intelligent than she had given him credit for and she’s touched by his melancholy temperament.
And so, contact is made. She steals a fuck ton of information from him over the coming months, they unwisely fall in love (despite Zatara being reticent to admit it), and it all comes to a head right before the minefield comes down and Dukat gives Damar a terrible ultimatum…
Thanks for asking, anon! I just had a very strong cocktail, so I hope this is coherent. XD
