If your OC could have one wish come true, what would it be and why? Would there be any consequences to this wish or would they regret it once they got what they want? What would they give in return for this wish to come true?
That is tricky because like many things with Zatara, it very much depends on what point in her life you ask this question. I think her wish generally would be to know how she ended up on the streets of Cardassia as a small child. I’d like to say that her wish would be to meet her parents and to understand why they abandoned her, but I expect there is probably too much anger and resentment there for her to truly want that. As for consequences, the result would be knowing that her parents gave her up because of her genetic abnormalities and confirming that it was not that they had died or otherwise had no choice, which would probably be pretty emotionally painful, despite her long held suspicions and lack of normal empathy. What would she give in return? Your life, but not hers.
What it your OC like with physical affection? What are their boundaries? Do they enjoy being touched or it that a no-go? Is there any reason behind this?
Zatara is unused to physical affection, so her reaction can be surprise and extreme suspicion. I would not recommend attempting to touch her without warning, as it is likely to result in a broken arm or worse. Her natural suspicious nature combined with living on the streets, people’s dislike/abuse for her physical differences, quick reflexes, and Obsidian Order training make her a dangerous individual to provoke with touching, even if your intentions are good. She actually broke Garak’s wrist the first night they met as small children. Corat Damar is probably the only exception to her instinctual reaction to touching, and to this day she sometimes doesn’t understand why… (It’s because she loves him, but that is hard for her to get her head around)

Zatara unknowingly has a large biological family (until most of them are killed in the Dominion War)! Her parents, a mathematician and a military officer, went on to successfully have 5 more children after her - 3 sisters and two brothers.
