HI okay so Cardassian time! Or at the very least, the first part of my Cardassian bullshit.

So I noticed there’s a bit of a divide between whether the blue tint on lady Cardassians’s foreheads and neckridges are biological or cosmetic and my theory is that they’re both!!

Cis Cardassian women naturally have a slight blue tinge to their neck and forehead spoon, and it’s popular  to further emphasize this through cosmetics. It could range from simple powders or creams to temporary dyes even, much like our own makeup. Either way, it’s considered popular to make your blue spoon bluer!
