I want to attend one of Garak and Julian's murder mystery dinner parties, but I'm a little afraid.
The “mystery” is not actually for the guests to solve. Garak has poisoned one of the guests, possibly before they even arrived for dinner, and Julian has to figure out who and how in time to treat them.

They are not paying aritsts anynore, but they are pocketing the saving and not reducing the cost to consumers.
So if you don't want to b boycott over artists being screwed, boycott over you being screwed.
