So apparently "organic dairy" requires not giving the cows analgesics or anti-inflammatories so milking may be more painful, and not using fly spray to keep flies off their faces, and of course no antibiotics -- using the approved dilute iodine solution for "teat dip" does at least REDUCE streptococcus infections, but not mastitis...
Yeah, organic regulations for animals are fucked. It’s a push for “natural”, when “natural” is substantially shittier than “modern”, and it’s born of the same fear of “chemicals” as makes people think GMOs will turn their kids into mutants or that actual medicine is poison and homeopathy good.
You could just stop buying cow milk.
