I don’t get why riker is characterized as like this swashbuckling dude who goes out to fuck everything because he is like. So passive. Like he’s not pulling a captain kirk and beaming down to grab the nearest alien who’s a white woman in sparkly latex to dramatically shake her by the shoulders and then kiss. Riker beams down to a planet and then the nearest alien woman who’s a white woman with a thing on her forehead is like “you. human. eat me out NOW!” and rikers just like “yeah okay :)” Hes not trying. it just comes to him. he just lays back and the puss rolls in via no effort of his own. he’s riker.
