New reptile facts:
Did you know that many species of baby snakes stay in a wiggly tangle with their siblings to keep warm? Also, pythons have a “brooding” instinct and curl around their eggs. Some will curl around another snake’s eggs or even egg-shaped rocks if something happens to their own. Also some species of mother Pythons shiver around their eggs to keep them warm.
Oh, and some lizards curl into a ball and bite their own tail when they’re frightened and now I’m imagining Cardassians instinctively curling into a ball when startled.
