Addendum, since I’ve received a few asks.
Still no judgement, but what I WON’T be doing is engaging with people who have already made up their minds based on their own “research” (eg pseudo science youtube propaganda to push an agenda) and who respond to this post in obvious bad faith with no intention of actually processing real information provided by an educated professional.
So, if you think that all zoos are evil or that animal welfare activists are all racists who don’t care about humans, or take any other extreme, black & white viewpoint that is not based in reality, do us both a favor and move on.
