Hey everyone, I had to bring my dog Rascal to the vet for emergency surgery (he swallowed a baby pacifier that belongs to my new roomate’s/boyfriend’s sister’s baby).
Because I used to work for the ER vet clinic and because I will be teching for my own dog’s surgery, they are giving me a low-ball price of $2,200.
I get paid bi weekly at my one job (next pay date is the 22nd) and monthly at my second (next pay date Nov 5th). I currently have no money in my account due to not being able to keep $100 in it this month (I’ve been moving, filling out paperwork against my mom, etc...)
Please, please, please send help if you can. I am starting my third job at the end of this week (will be working ~70-80hrs for the winter).
My dog Rascal, pictured below, is the only thing I have in life. I recently cut ties with an abusive mother and moved into a supportive environment. He is a trained service dog (another reason the foreign body surgery is low) and one that I depend on to live (if you would like to know the nature of my disability please message me: I have C-PTSD and dibilitating migraines, when I have episodes he can sense them coming on).
Please help.
I was in the ascent and then THIS happened.
He’s out of surgery and they managed to get all of the pacifier out. He’ll be at the hospital all weekend (for free thank goodness) so the doctor on call and techs can monitor him.
So far I’m at $80/$2,200.... please, please help if you can. Rascal really is the only thing I live for.
I don’t know WHAT I would do without him. I’m already working two jobs (and training/starting a THIRD), the state I live in does not make it easy for people to live or save money.
The hospital manager is okay with me doing a payment plan every week because I’ve worked with them.... BUT the first payment plan would be $550 due TOMORROW.
So I guess I am technically $80/ $550.
I’m absolutely begging for help. Even $1, $3, $5 helps. I’m just starting to get my life back on track and BOOM.... please help. I can’t lose my pupp. He’s all I have in the world.
Currently at $125/$2,200 (or, more importantly, $125/$550).
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HAS DONATED!!! You are ANGELS!!!!!!!!!
I don’t expect all of Rascal‘s bill to be fronted by strangers, but I also did NOT EXPECT for strangers to be so kind.
Like I said, every $1 counts and my sweet lil Rascal and I both appreciate it! I NEVER thought I’d have a pup that would feel inclined to eat a baby pacifier 😐
Again.... thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you Thank You Thank You Thank You Thank You Thank You THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!
