I'm pretty sure 99% of anti vegan arguments are just copied mindlessly (and incorrectly) from everyone else on the internet because I see so many people say "blah blah blah your child slavery produced quinoa" but unless I'm remembering wrong that (disproven) article about quinoa had nothing to do with slave labor and was about the demand increase hiking up prices for the local farmers so they couldn't afford their products.

The quinoa thing had nothing to do with slavery no, so not only can they not be bothered to find out that the argument was wrong, they didn’t even bother to find out what the argument even is. It really shows us just how deeply they care for the quinoa farmers they hold up as human shields against any and all criticisms of their own selfish choices.
oh wow I see them say it so much I forgot what the original was about! Though I do remember when that article first came out years ago people did get it "right".
though maybe they are mixing it up with agave? or is that the bat one
I'd give it a slight pass if they're mixing it up but if not, then it's just really disheartening.
