yes on both counts.
they don’t actually fly, but there’s a whole genus of lizards out there that have developed “wings” built out of skin flaps and extensions of their own ribs!
they’re folded up when not is use, but these little dudes use those flaps to catch some serious air and glide from tree-to-tree to avoid snakes, who are notoriously lacking in the wing department.
and to top it off, the name of this genus of flying lizards is Draco!
so dragons are real, actually. sorry homophobes, I don’t make the rules.
