Thinking about all the spaces on Voyager where children can hide away from adults. All the rarely used jefferies tubes and storage areas where Naomi, Mezoti, Azan and Rebi sat close together and laughed and ate snacks they thought they had managed to steal from Neelix kitchen like little triumphant, precious gems they could share. Of course Neelix always knew, but he let them take it.
Thinking about how Naomi visited all those places when it was just her left and how empty it must have felt.

They are not paying aritsts anynore, but they are pocketing the saving and not reducing the cost to consumers.
