i could talk about garak for days but GOD that scene where the main founder tells him all the cardassian attack force is dead and said "you're dead. cardassia is dead" and he briefly breaks and you can briefly see how horrified he is makes me feel insane. no wonder he went batshit at the end of the ep and tried to kill them all, we rarely see garak show genuine emotion like that, for him to lose his grip shows just how monumental that news was
