I know we joke lots about putting Garak in a terrarium bcuz he's a lizard man but the truth is Sloan is the one I'd want to keep in a terrarium, with a few heavy books on the lid. Garak, I'd let roam around and cause trouble for me like a cat
it seems there have been a few misunderstandings as to my intention with this post. the terrarium isn’t a punishment. it is so i can loom my face unsettlingly close and tap on the glass like the child from finding nemo. if he feels punished by these actions then that is just a pleasant side effect.
dukat, however, i would not keep in a terrarium. that would mean i would have to feed and care for him. thus, i would give him away for free on craigslist because the local animal shelter doesnt take in whatever the fuck he is. (unless perhaps i am keeping him to help breed feed stock for sloan??)
likewise, to account for garak’s special skincare needs outside the confines of a terrarium, he shall be pampered like a beloved hairless cat--given a warm bath and coconut oil massage everyday while i tell him what a good and special boy he is
