starfleet should revoke julian bashir's medical license not because he lied about being genetically altered but bc his terminal case of "I could fix them" disease combined with his bitchless status make it impossible for him to be normal about attractive patients suffering from debilitating conditions. this man catches the faintest whiff of a hot person in pain and his brain immediately goes into medical malpractice mode

They are not paying aritsts anynore, but they are pocketing the saving and not reducing the cost to consumers.
