Except for the chough, we’ve seen / heard all of these - the rook, jackdaw, jay, magpie and rook right in the back garden, the crow, hoodie and raven in the meadow beyond the hedge or in flight from the demesne across the wall.
The descriptions of their calls is correct - none of them are what you’d call melodious.
ETA: in “The Hobbit”, when JRR Tolkien named the talking raven “Roäc son of Carc”; he knew exactly what sounds he was reproducing…
