I dont know who needs to hear this but the Queer community will never find a stronger ally than the Kink community.
If you've never been to a kink event, check one out. They are some of the most welcoming, open-minded and supportive people out there.
You will meet straight cis men who enjoy sex with men. You will meet people with trauma working through triggers in a supportive community environment. You will find young single college students and 75 year old grandparents, people with pronouns on their nametags, people in vinyl drag and people in T-shirts and jeans.
The Kink community is an Ally and a Sister of the Queer community. They've fought for us, and regardless of whether or not certain acts are acceptable in public, I feel like we need to stop acting like being associated with them is the end of the goddamn world.
Someone goes to bat for you, and you should be willing to do the same for them. Flat out.
