Can’t believe I had to watch Riker and Quark flirt in “TNG: Firstborn.”
So they need help finding the Duras sisters, and call DS9. Quark is the one put on the line.
They instantly recognize and remember the other’s name. They both make expressions like this while talking in blcker-flirty tones.
Quark sounds hopeful that Riker will personally return to DS9 to “reserve one of his holosuites.” Then they talk business. Then as “payment” Riker offers to return some vouchers Quark gave him last time he was there.
When they sign off, Quark does this.
It’s a quick motion, but he rubs his ear and points at Riker! What is even the hell? We know what ear-rubbing means to Ferengi!
(Seriously, though, a fun little crossover cameo :P)
