Okay, diverging from DS9 to say that I almost crashed my car driving home from the movie theatre when Hannibal came out because I was SO angry that Ridley Scott had changed the ending of the book.  So… Yeah.  I would have that movie end the way the book did.

But also, Damar lives. XD

NGL, I think Ziyal/Garak is cute.  Like, I don’t hardcore ship it, but I see the potential there.  You guys can stone me to death now.

Depends on the temperature.  I’m leaning towards kissing in the dark, but thunderstorms are a big turn on for me, so kissing in a thunderstorm when it’s hot outside is a contender.

So, here’s the funny thing about this one: if you had asked me at ANY other point in my life, I would have said that it’s a good way to get punched in the mouth.  I’ve always been extremely dominant.

However, my Vigilant Nobleman did it once and rather than punch him, I was extremely turned on.  So, FUCK yes, but only if it’s him.

Small vent, I'm a bi woman who strongly prefers women (but still bi). I was talking with coworkers last night on our break and the topic came around to that. When I said that they were like, "honey, you're gay." I felt like I had to prove I had men I was attracted to in order to validate being bi. It was late then, but now I just feel gross for having to do that. I always avoid talking about sexuality bc it turns into a "you've either had sex with several members of both sexes or you're actually gay" or some other variation of proving attraction. It's frustrating. Thank you for being a positive presence in my life.

My dear Anon, I’m so, so sorry you had to deal with that.  No one is entitled to details about your sexuality or personal life, and I’m very sorry you felt pressured into sharing things that were really none of your co-workers’ business.  Frankly, from what you described, it sounds like sexual harassment.  As a bisexual woman, I’ve dealt with a lot of ignorance from classmates, coworkers - even friends and lovers, and, sadly, many members of the LGBT+ community.  Just remember, what matters most is what identity YOU feel comfortable with.  If you’re 99% attracted to one gender and only 1% attracted to another, you’re still bi if that’s what makes you comfortable.  (And please don’t get me started on the whole “bi is trans-exclusionary” nonsense, because it’s not and never has been.)  Also, NO ONE is entitled to personal information that you are not comfortable sharing, and that includes your attraction and sexual history.  You owe NO ONE an explanation or apology or justification for WHO YOU ARE!
