Known operatives of the Obsidian Order
When I tell you that this wire will give you no trouble, as long as you don’t meddle with it, you can believe me. You know that, don’t you, Elim?
“A Stitch in Time” by Andrew Robinson
Spoken by Mindur Tlmot, the “cheerful and ancient head of research” at the Obsidian Order, after an explanation of how “the wire” in Garak’s head will work
Thank you! I ALWAYS forget Timot’s name.

For Cardassia!
I have two of these pillows for sale, never opened or used! They say “For Cardassia” along the top and bottom, though it is hard to see in this pic. I think they’re approximately 16x16. Message me if interested.

Nope, you haven’t missed anything. We have a word for “black,”
“kut,” and a word for “jade” (or a similar mineral found on Cardassia), “terafa,” but no word for “obsidian” –yet.
@tinsnip, I’m thinking something like “tuxkit,” to mimic the (I’m assuming) sharp breaking sound you get when making an obsidian stone edge. Plus you can just sound so menacing with the word.
Side note: “kairhailo” comes from the Cardassian Sourcebook (originally spelled as “cairhailo”), but interestingly enough, when naming specific orders, they drop the O. Both examples given in the book are for military orders, though, so it’s possible this is a military-only thing. For now, I’d say you can use either Kairhailo Tuxkit (kah-eer-hah-ee-loh tuhch-keet, with the ch being pronounced as “Bach” or “loch”; IPA: /
kʰɑiː hɑiː
loʊ
tʌx
kʰiːt) or Kairhail Tuxkit–whichever fits best with your worldbuilding!
Hello, friends! Like me, do you have nothing but contempt and loathing for most everyone you encounter? Well, good news! Now you can display your dislike for everyone to see in this handsome plaque!
Each plaque is hand-painted and bears the phrase “Fuck You” in Kardasi (”cufka’ajan” - with thanks to @tinsnip and @feltelures for the translation and script). The background is a beautiful glittery green (green more prominent in real life than in photo) with stark purple lettering - the distinct colors of the Obsidian Order.
Plaques measure approximately 12x4 inches, and while they are made out of sturdy plywood, they are extremely lightweight and would do well with either magnets or hanging strips.
Cost is $15.00, US shipping included. Private message me if interested. :)
I have four more of these available now. One is being discounted to $10 because the glitter got smudged on one end (but it still looks pretty good).
I can vouch that these are even prettier and sparklier in person! Here’s mine on the wall by my desk at work:

Oh yay! It arrived!

For Cardassia!
Nothing like the buzzing sound of the needle when you get some fresh ink. After nearly two years, finally got my Obsidian Order tattoo. The colors should pop more once my blood isn’t mixed in with them. @cardassianlanguage
Really, Memory Beta? Several novels and still no one has given poor Seska a surname?
I have to do everything myself.
I think we pretty firmly established that they didn’t give her name much thought. At any point in her development.
I firmly reject the idea that she attended Starfleet Academy in any capacity. That does not fit with her personality (as a Bajoran or a Cardassian) or what we know of her cover story. Somebody was dreaming.
I also have to laugh at the caption below her photo. “Seska in her true Cardassian form.” If by “true Cardassian form,” you mean in the process of restoring her Cardassian DNA, then yes. Sheesh.
Ikr? As I read that entry, I thought about Garak reminiscing with Entek in Foreign Bodies and asking, in passing, whatever happened to that junior probe Seska.

The Obsidian Order isn’t what it used to be, man.
