- started a union
- inspired his fellow workers to join said union, even though most of them were ferengi and it is literal heresy in their culture to even speak the word
- was fully committed to said union even after his brother was beaten as a message, even under actual, literal threat of death from one of if not the most powerful ferengi institution
(also the boss he was negotiating with was the aforementioned brother)- successfully had his demands met
- like rom went so fucking hard in bar association let’s just appreciate him for a minute
