Just a quick update to say I made it home safely and I had a lovely time at the convention. I’m very glad that ticket did not go to waste, and I just wanted to take a moment to once again thank the friends who made it possible for me to go. You guys are awesome, and I love you. <3

Well, no one bought the STLV ticket and I’ll be damned if I’m going to let it go to waste. So, expect radio silence from me from Tuesday to Monday, but don’t worry, it’s nothing bad. I’m just too broke to pay for hotel internet. LOL
And thanks to my friends who are helping me out with hotel costs so that I can go and not lose out on the price of the ticket (which is non-refundable). You guys are awesome. :)

If anyone was considering going to the big Vegas convention this August, I have a general admission ticket, good for all five days, that I am going to be selling. I was going to be putting it on ebay, but since there are so many good Trekkies on here, I thought I would mention it on Tumblr first.
From Creation:
“This is the most cost effective way to attend all FIVE days of the
convention. You get to see all the guests and events in the main theatre
from a non-reserved guaranteed seat in the rear or sides and, of
course, you can check out The Promenade full of special Trek features,
the vendors area and the secondary theatre (pending seating
availability) as well. This option does not include autographs or photo ops which can be purchased separately.
You can also attend our free to all Karaoke Parties and Quark’s,
pending room availability. We feel that our general admission prices are
OUTRAGEOUSLY UNBELIEVABLE especially compared to other forms of LIVE
entertainment, particularly in Vegas, so make your plans NOW to be part
of the action that is like no other! Note that this package does not
include night shows, other than those that are free to all, pending room
availability.”

I had a few queries, but ticket is still available. I am asking $300 for it. Creation is selling it for $330, plus a “handling fee,” which is ridiculous, since all they do is email it to you, but that’s neither here nor there.
So, with the money you save buying it from me, you could purchase a photo-op or autographs or cool swag. Or you could just pocket the cash.
It’s TNG’s 30th Anniversary and the main cast will all be there, so it should be a great show. I will tell you that in 2015, seeing the panel with Levar Burton, Brent Spiner, and Jonathan Frakes literally had me laughing so hard that I had to leave and use the bathroom for fear of wetting my pants.
One of the best things about the cons is the karaoke parties, believe it or not. I’m not a terribly social person, but those things are a blast! They’re hosted by cast members (last year it was Gowron and Martok in costume!) and there are usually a few surprise singers (Bob Picardo has done it both times I’ve been).
Many of the guests have tables in the vendor’s room and are happy to chat with you. It’s been my experience that most of them are incredibly gracious and kind to the fans, which is so cool. I’ve met a lot of them thanks to these cons and I can only think of two guys who were rude to me.
Creation will nickel and dime you, but it’s worth it to get the chance to meet some of these amazing people and the panels are fantastic.
Also, you can save a lot of money if you make sandwiches in your hotel room, which is what I always did.
